Cut by Adelaide contemporary jeweller Kath Inglis is her first solo exhibition in Sydney.
Pablo Fanque 24 March to 11 April 2009
Inglis transforms PVC to create precious works by colouring and hand carving designs into the surface to catch and reflect light. Cut is a new collection of jewellery inspired by eclectic sources, which Inglis then translates into intricate engravings.
Inglis has a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Jewellery + Metalsmithing from the South Australian School of Art. She has exhibited around the country and overseas including the group show Flip Side in San Fransico at Velvet da Vinci Jewelry Gallery late last year.
